Introduction:

Right from the gate let us recognize the power of knowledge, which is one of the key themes of this article. The reasons behind me dissecting the integral aspects of fats bio-chemical characteristics are… some fats are essential, and our cells require them. Some are harmful if taken in excess and others are carcinogenic (poison) even in small quantities. In my own ignorance, I was not fully aware of all the “fat facts” and have put months of effort into understanding the complex relationships between biomolecules like lipids, proteins, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates and the backend biochemistry dance that goes on within our living cells and how it affects us. This was not easy, I have gone through numerous research papers, books, and educational materials, some of those are listed at the end of this paper. If I do not document this collective gained knowledge for others, to pick up and enhance this work, it will be a sheer waste of my own time, and moreover, readers get a chance to understand this complex topic in a few minutes and can walk past this paper, equipped with knowledge that could meaningfully change or enhance their life, provided they practice what they may have learnt.
